Parent Consent

What parents agree to when creating an account on behalf of a child.

Last updated: 8/14/2026
This page is a working policy draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch.

Who must consent

A parent or legal guardian must create the account, add child profiles, and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on the child's behalf.

What you're consenting to

  • Collection of minimal child profile and learning activity data.
  • Use of AI features (chat, voice, image upload) with content filtering.
  • Communication via email about your account and your child's progress.

How to withdraw consent

You can disable AI features per child, export data, or fully delete a child profile at any time from the parent dashboard.

Schools & co-ops

Where the platform is provided through a school, the school is responsible for parental notification per local law. We support this with school-level admin tools.
